PROGRAMS OF CHOICE
Flagler Schools uses School Choice as a strategy to ensure that students receive the education that best meets their needs.
Programs of Choice are the Programs of Study at each of our high schools that are eligible for School Choice. Students accepted into these programs have the opportunity to explore options outside of their attendance area zone by enrolling in a specific set of courses with a designated focus.

2024-2025 FLAGLER COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM OF CHOICE APPLICATION
Program of Study Showcase - February 6th -Current 8th and 9th Graders
February 6th from 6PM to 7:30PM we will be hosting an open house for all current 8th and 9th grade students to learn more about the various Programs of Study available at Matanzas HS including:
- Hospitality & Tourism
- Building Construction Technology
- Culinary
- Marketing & Finance
- Cybersecurity
- Law & Justice
- Future Teachers
- Digital Media
- Army JROTC
The event will begin at 6PM with an informational presentation in the Pirate Theater and will be followed by the opportunity to visit these programs around campus and speak with teacher and student representatives from these programs.
