Secondary Dress Code: Tentative Change to Policy

On Tuesday afternoon, August 2, 2022 members of the Flagler County School Board unanimously agreed to allow middle and high school students to wear graphic art t-shirts this upcoming school year. This change mirrors the dress code policy for elementary students. However, it will not be officially in place until a formal vote is held during a special meeting of the Board on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

Superintendent Cathy Mittelstadt was appreciative of the support for this tweak to the dress code. “We heard from our parents, students, and deans. I think this will make it easier for our families as they prepare for the start of the school year.”
