Course Selection

Planning your future schedule is an important part of your high school journey, so we have created a process for students to receive guided help in choosing their future course selections. 

Please engage in conversations with your core and elective teachers about course recommendations for next year. Your teachers are the experts in their subject areas and can assist you with selecting future classes that are appropriate for you. You will also have an opportunity to sit down with your school counselor for an individual future course selection meeting. During that meeting your counselor will discuss your future aspirations, review your selections, and make any needed changes or recommendations based on your plans, progress, goals, and needs. We want to reassure students that if they feel a change is needed or perhaps that they made a mistake, it can and will be corrected. Please also complete the MHS Course Selections Google form if you have any questions throughout the process.
