Flagler Schools Grads Launch Fire Careers, Helping Build the Next Workforce

(Flagler County, Florida) - A trio of fire rescue specialists from Flagler Schools is putting their education and training to work in service to their community. Flagler Palm Coast High School (FPC) graduates  Joseph Mione, Bradley Loughran, and  Victoria King, began their careers with Flagler County Fire Rescue.

The three graduates from FPC’s Fire Leadership Program stood out during a competitive hiring process that drew 20 applicants for just five available positions . All three performed exceptionally well during the testing and selection process, earning the opportunity to begin careers serving the residents of Flagler County.

Their success is another example of the opportunities available to Flagler Schools students through their Diploma Plus programs, helping students build meaningful careers. “We are incredibly proud to see our graduates begin careers where they can serve the community they call home,” said Flagler Schools K-12 CTE Specialist, Martin Evans. “Joseph, Bradley and Victoria represent the talent, dedication and commitment we see in our students every day. We congratulate them and look forward to watching them continue to grow and make a difference in Flagler County.”
